Wanna get away… Annecy

It was 2016 September when I booked a solo trip to Annecy, France. The picturesque city with its stunning lake and the old town's canals is known by the nickname "Venice of the Alps."

I was drawn to Annecy without fully understanding why. There was something stirring in me that I could not quite articulate. Perhaps the overall motivation of why I needed to get away remains a bit of a mystery but I believe that throughout my travels an unexpected passion was stirred and it ultimately ignited a pressing need to write stories.
